"Chris Redfield returns in the free "Not A Hero" DLC for #RE7 this Spring. Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC Walkthrough Gameplay Part 1 includes a Review of Not A Hero of the RE7 DLC for PS4 Pro, VR, Xbox One X and PC. We didn’t know if that was series mascot Chris Redfield (he certainly didn’t look like the Gears of War Protagonist in-waiting muscle head we saw in the earlier games) or some distant relative, but a new tweet from Capcom regarding the games next free DLC, “Not a Hero”, revealed it was, in fact, Chris himself… who’d be taking a starring role in said DLC. Spoiler alert, though, anyone who’s reached the ending will know that it still lightly ties itself back to the main Resident Evil chronology by the end, revealing that Resident Evil mainstay Umbrella had something to do with this particular outbreak, and that a “Redfield” was working for them. I don’t know what else to say about this. This extra game content will give you an extra 2 hours of gameplay, and it is going to shore up a lot of loose.

If you play this game you’ll notice what I’m tryinna’ say here. RE7 Not A Hero spoilers ahead Resident Evil 7 waited a full year to release some DLC that worth playing, but it was well worth the wait. Lightning effect is superior and it plays main role of background as a placementwise. You don’t have to have played the previous games, read the tie-in books, or spend a few hours on the fan-run Wikipedia to understand what’s going on: it feels like a new story in a new world. Graphics look nice and they work for this game. One of the things that people enjoyed most about Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, other than the focus on horror, the tightly-made atmosphere, the return of classic-style puzzles, and a fairly memorable story, is that it deviates pretty wildly from the “plot” of the series so far.
